Madilyn's Travel Soccer Game 9.12.10
With all of Brittany & Clay's sports I don't get to make it to very many of my neices' & nephews' sports so when Madi played within 1 hour of us we headed out!
Madi was beaming when she saw that we had surprised her by coming to the game. It was a gorgeous day, doesn't the sky almost look fake? We were so proud to cheer Madi on from the sidelines!
Clay's 1st Tackle Football Game 9.11.10
Clay played his 1st tackle football game on 9.11.10. It rained, it poured, and then rained some more. Clay didn't care, he was in his element!

Labor Day Weekend 2010 at the Zoo
Brittany headed up to the lakes with a friend for Labor Day weekend so Clay & I headed to Deanna's and to the zoo. Pam, Jay, & Lincoln met us there and despite the cool temperatures we had a great day! Clay's 2 favorite animals are cheetahs & sharks so he was loving this zoo. Clay got a chance to pet the sharks!

Madilyn didn't want to race the cheetah but she wanted a picture with Tony Stewart and the cheetah.
Clay was in awe (I was also!) of the cheetahs. They are gorgeous and dangerous looking at the same time. They are very intimidating animals.

August 28th, 2010 Quick Chicago Trip
We headed up to Chicago for a quick day trip. The boys had tickets to the preseason Bears game vs. the Arizona Cardinals and the girls including my friend Tina headed to Michigan Avenue! The weather was perfect!

Chad said that Clay loved the inflatable Bear that the players ran out of during the start of the game
I LOVE this picture of Clay. Much like his father, Soldier's Field is like heaven on earth! Since I sent my camera with Chad, the girls didn't get to take pictures of our adventures shopping. We made several purchases and ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Everyone had a great day!
