Kenny Chesney Live-the movie April 2010
Instead of touring in the Summer of 2010, Kenny Chesney released a behind-the-scenes 3d concert movie. The crazy thing was the times of the show. 1 show per day and the day Deanna and I went it was at 10pm. I felt so old when I was getting ready to go somewhere at 9ish!!! I haven't done that in years-Purdue memories-anyone??? Overall, it was GREAT! I am very biased, I will admit to that, but really who has a nicer voice to listen to?

Deanna and Susie anxiously waiting for the movie to start. Another fun fact for the evening, before the movie started the manager came out and gave instructions. No dancing, stay seated, please don't sing so loud that people can't hear Kenny Chesney sing, etc. I was laughing so hard, then the movie started. I don't sit thru Kenny's concerts I dance and sing my heart out and NOW I can't do that!! I really didn't think it would be a problem. I did sing and once in a while, my legs were rocking but just a little!!!! The movie might pacify me enough until I can see Kenny again!

Earth Day 4.22.10
As a parent I am trying to set a good example for my children when it comes to recycling, not littering, etc. I am trying to instill that not only is it a choice to keep our earth clean, it is the ONLY choice! My latest goal is for the recycling bins at our house to be twice as full as our regular trash! I know, it may seem sad that I have made that a 'goal' but I am telling you making a conscious decision is a big part of the success! On Earth Day I wear my TLC to Earth shirt. I have blogged about this foundation before. A foundation was set up to build an eco-friendly playground after a family lost a child in a steam engine accident. The playground was built and being enjoyed by tons of children last year at my hometown's steam engine show.
My hope is that when it comes to recycling and sorting our trash that it becomes the norm that the kids automatically recycle more than just throwing something away. If as a mom, I set the example now it will be with them for ever-a life lesson!

Drew Steven arrives 4.21.10 7lbs. 3 oz. 20 inches long

Kenny, Mary, Morgan, and Kennedy welcomed Baby Drew on 4.21.10 at 6:47am. Baby and Mom are doing really well! Here are some pictures from Drew's Birth Day! I wasn't able to get any pics of Dad (Papa). He was at the hospital before I got there and left to get to the field to plant some more crops. I also didn't get any pictures of Morgan with Drew. Morgan was at school when I was there! I promise to get some pictures of the entire family very soon! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!
